How is Home Depot/Lowes for kitchen remodeling?

Apologies if this has asked before but I couldn't find it. I am looking to get my kitchen remodeled (cabinets, appliances, countertops, etc) and change the floors in my condo. How is Home Depot/Lowes for such a project? I have spoken to a couple of contractors/specialists and compared to them in Sacramento https://kitchensacramento.com, I really liked Home Depot because it feels like a one-stop-shop and I am in much more control of the whole process.
