pioneer install issues

replacing the headunit in a Fiat 500 with a pioneer avh z5000dab

having many issues with this change over and finding little information on line

usually loads of information on google & youtube but nothing

1) using a connects2 wiring kit however steering wheel controls not working, i disconnected the battery while doing the install

2) i can't find the blu&me box to fit the wiring module

3) can't seem to find a setup screen for the outputs, tried setting the EQ flat as the JL audio 10005v2 has been running for a couple of years and is all set up well

generally just could do with some information / suggestions

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
