Do not mind smoking your acetone wash for whatever

Hardware store acetone is not going to be anhydrous and probably nowhere near enough to do this. You can dry your acetone with stuff like anhydrous epsom salt and other dessicates, although they are in the material you are trying to purify. If your amphetamine still looks like it looks like it's no more acetone smell, or if you see liquid in your glass jar where you dumped the acetone. Save that jar for when you run out of speed and do not mind.
I would not worry about a cigarette. I've been done this time in the world. It's no more dangerous than building a model airplane.
